Corn Location

Corn Heritage Village Communities of Care

The need for a nursing home in Corn Oklahoma was met in 1948, as the Mennonite Brethren Church of Corn opened their Home for the Aged; a facility that housed 17 residents.

The Home for the Aged soon outgrew its original size and in 1960, a new 13 bed wing was added and in 1970 another wing was constructed, increasing the overall size of the Home for the Aged to 61 residents.

In 1987, the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church gave approval to build the present day Corn Heritage Village.  This facility was opened in November of 1988 with room for 104 residents and eight two-bedroom apartments.  Since then, eight one-bedroom apartments have been added and a wing of the nursing facility has been remodeled to become the Specialized Care Center for persons with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

In January 2006, the Corn Mennonite Brethren Church purchased another facility in Weatherford, Oklahoma.  This Community of Care, Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford, has greatly increased our ability to serve Senior Adults in Western Oklahoma with an additional 50 beds.

Both locations are fully licensed and certified for Medicaid Assistance and as Skilled Nursing Facilities.
